Learn to See Light. Learn to Tell Better Stories.
Chin Hock started photography in 2011 with a very simple intention. To take better pictures of his firstborn.
He never expected that small desire to grow into exhibitions, photobooks, awards, or a social enterprise. Back then, he was simply a father trying to freeze moments that felt too precious to lose.
In 2017, Chin Hock began teaching photography. With support from the LEARN SG Seed Fund, he went islandwide, teaching photography in community centres, organisations, and schools. He later attained his ACTA certification (Adult Education) and went on to conduct a 2-day WSQ Mobile Photography workshop
To date, he has taught over 1,000 participants who simply wanted to take better photos using the device they already carry every day.
No expensive gear.
No technical overwhelm.
Just learning how to see better.
This is a highly practical, hands-on session. You will not just listen. You will shoot, review, adjust, and shoot again.
