Holdinghands Studio Organizes a Fun-Filled Photography Day for Migrant Workers with Shian Bang

Workshop break time (Trainer Shian Bang at the centre)

We had the pleasure of partnering with Shian Bang, a professional photographer, to conduct an indoor photography shoot for migrant workers on 26 June 22. The event was a huge success, thanks in no small part to Shian's willingness to volunteer his time and share his professional knowledge with the participants. Big thanks to Benjamin who also took time out to share his knowledge and guide the participants.

The shoot took place in Covenant Evangelical Free Church (Woodlands), and the migrant workers had the opportunity to learn about studio photography from Shian. They were able to experiment with different lighting setups, backgrounds, and poses, and they even had the chance to try their hand at being both the subject and the photographer. Throughout the event, Shian and Benjamin provided guidance and feedback to help the participants improve their photography skills.

From the video footage captured at the event, it's clear that the migrant workers had a blast. They were all smiles, laughing and enjoying themselves, as they learned new skills and created lasting memories. It was truly heartwarming to see people from all walks of life coming together and having such a great time.

Holdinghands Studio is committed to making a real impact in the lives of migrant workers. We understand that these individuals often face significant challenges in their daily lives, and we believe that photography can be a powerful tool for bringing people together and building community. This event was just one of many that Holdinghands Studio has organized to help migrant workers feel more connected and supported.

If you're interested in learning more about our work with migrant workers, be sure to stay tuned. More activities are in store, and we're always looking for volunteers and supporters to help make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Contact us today!
